In plain language: la Boussole is a personal astrology app. You own your data. We offer a Premium subscription for advanced features via Apple In-App Purchase. All readings are for personal reflection and entertainment, not professional advice. You may delete your account and all your data at any time.
By downloading, installing or using la Boussole ("the app", "the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
These terms form a binding agreement between you and la Boussole ("we", "us", "our").
la Boussole is a personal astrology application available on iOS. The service provides natal chart calculation, personalised daily readings, forecasts, a personal journal and compatibility analysis. Some features require a paid Premium subscription.
The service is provided "as is" and may be modified, updated or discontinued at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of material changes.
To access most features you must create an account with a valid email address, name and password. You are responsible for:
One account per person. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
la Boussole offers a permanently free tier including your natal chart, daily sky information, weekly forecast, daily journaling and your own sun sign horoscope. No credit card is required.
Premium features, including tailored daily readings, yearly forecasts, the Daily Energy strip, On the Horizon, synastry compatibility, personalised journal insights and extended chart points, require an active Premium subscription.
New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial. The trial converts automatically to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Each Apple ID is eligible for one free trial.
The price for Premium is shown at the time of purchase inside the app and on our website at laboussole.site. Prices may vary by region and are always confirmed before any charge is made to your Apple ID.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You may cancel at any time in Settings on your iPhone, under your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. You retain access to Premium features until then. We do not offer refunds for partial periods, but Apple's standard refund policy applies.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified in advance and given the opportunity to cancel before any increase takes effect, as required by Apple's App Store guidelines.
You own all content you create in la Boussole, including journal entries and birth data. By submitting content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely to provide the service to you.
We do not sell your content or use it for any purpose other than delivering the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.
You can delete all your content and account data at any time from Settings, Account, Delete Account.

Astrology and the personalised content produced by this app are not substitutes for professional consultation. You should not make significant life decisions based solely on content from the app. We expressly disclaim any liability for decisions made in reliance on app content.
Personalised readings are generated from your chart and the current sky, but we do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness or suitability for your circumstances.
la Boussole, its design, code, branding, visual assets and all non-user content are the property of la Boussole and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any part of the service without our written consent.
The name "la Boussole" is used as a trade mark. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use it.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of bugs. We do not warrant the accuracy of astrological calculations or personalised content.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. To the extent such exclusions are not permitted, they are limited to the minimum extent required by applicable law.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LA BOUSSOLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) €10 EUR.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by applicable law.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from within the app.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases. Sections covering content ownership, disclaimers, liability and governing law survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Finnish courts.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence, and you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the service and delete your account.
